My stay at The Colonnade was a mixed bag. the location in Little Venice was quite charming, with easy access to the tube, but the room was a letdown. There were cleanliness issues and some facilities that clearly needed urgent attention, which dampened the overall experience.

The room felt quite tired and old-fashioned. peeling wallpaper and a general lack of cleanliness made it less than pleasant. It was cozy in size, but definitely in need of refurbishment.

While some staff were friendly, there was a noticeable lack of training. my requests seemed to fall on deaf ears, especially regarding room issues. This inconsistency was disappointing.

I had a rather disappointing experience at The Colonnade. Despite its charming location and historic aspects, the room and overall cleanliness were lacking. and the service did not meet the expected standards. There were notable moments when things simply did not go as planned, leaving a lot to be desired during my stay.

My stay at The Colonnade was a mix of charm and disappointment. While the hotel's character and historic ambiance caught my eye, the upkeep left much to be desired. The uncomfortable mattress and lack of basic amenities really detracted from my experience. I appreciated the location, but the service and dining options were frustratingly below par.

I was assigned a tiny room despite booking a double, and it was poorly cleaned with hair everywhere. Eventually, I was moved to a larger room, but the overall maintenance of the hotel felt neglected.
Service

The staff seemed overwhelmed and could barely assist with basic queries, leaving me feeling neglected during my stay. The restaurant staff also appeared unprepared, which added to the overall dissatisfaction.

The location is fantastic, as it’s just a short walk from the tube station, making it easy to explore the city. I appreciated the peaceful neighborhood vibe too.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was disappointing, with poorly set tables and a lack of cleanliness. The food options were limited and not well-prepared when I did get something, which was frustrating.
Facilities

The lift only went to the second floor, which was inconvenient, and the general facilities felt outdated, needing immediate renovation to improve guest experience.

My return to The Colonnade brought back fond memories, yet it was a mixed experience. The staff were truly the star of my stay, always friendly and eager to help. However, the decor felt outdated and the room was quite small, especially the en suite bathroom. While the hotel's history is impressive, it seems to be in need of a little TLC to match its four-star rating.

Rooms
6.0
The space was cramped, and the en suite bathroom felt particularly tiny, making it hard to move around. Additionally, there were some issues with cleanliness that were disappointing.
Service
8.0
The staff were attentive and friendly, always ready to assist whenever needed, which definitely made a positive impact on my stay.
Location

Situated in a peaceful neighborhood near Little Venice, it was conveniently close to the Warwick Avenue Underground station, making exploring London quite easy.
Dining

Breakfast was a highlight, with a good range of options, though the cooked items could have been hotter. The menu for dinner was limited, and I was surprised at the service charge policy.
